To practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner, a student must become a registered nurse by achieving a BSN degree and passing NCLEX examination. Then gain some experience as a registered nurse and achieve your MSN master of science in nursing. Take specialized courses in concentration to pediatrics and then last step is to get a board certification done through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Once you achieve, then you can practice as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
